Disneyland

What can I say, this trip was so fun!! I just really love Disneyland. A lot. And so did the kids.

Yes, it was planned only a few days before we left. My sister Lani kept trying to talk us into going and I didn't think it was even a possibility until I mentioned it to Nate and he was all for it. I learned this trip that he is as much of a Disneyland lover as I am. Awesome. And seriously, I think we enjoyed it more than the kids. THAT, is how much we love it.

We flew from Idaho Falls to Long Beach on Allegiant Air. I love Allegiant! And for only purchasing our tickets a few days in advance, all 5 of us flew for about $500! And that is round trip! Awesome, I know. I will never drive to California again.

Okay, so remember I was saying that my sister was the one planning this trip? Well they ended up not being able to go. Bummer. But it was still great. My sister-in-law and her family that live here in Logan were there for 2 of the days so we hung out with them for a while.

Now, here are a whole bunch of random pictures. And nope, I am not in any of them. Blessed Nate, he took the kids on all the spinning rides that make me sick. I was happy to watch and take pictures.

Dylan and Cassie really enjoyed the Jedi Training show...

Cassie loved meeting all the princesses. She was really shy around them though...

I love Toon Town!...

The Pixar Parade was really neat.

They are on there somewhere...

Yay for Whitney showing up!...

Watching the Celebrations parade...

Cassie was pulled out to dance in the parade...

Cassie was literally dripping wet after Grizzly River Run. It was so funny because most of us were pretty dry, just not our tiny little Cassie...

Some things I will remember about this trip:
-It was so hot! It had been 70 degrees until we got there. Then it hit 95. Then the day we left it was down to 70 again. Seriously, who planned that? I am not a fan of heat! The kids weren't either. We had to drench them in the Bugs Land fountains whenever they got too hot. Then they were good to go again.
-The Tower of Terror. This was by far the scariest ride for the kids (and me too), but they still went on it. Three times, too. And they cried every time. While Cassie and I were getting on the elevator on her 3rd time up, she was really sobbing. The guy asked if she wanted off and Cassie huddled against me and said no. I asked why she keeps going on the ride when she cries every time and gets so scared. She said, in her shaky little voice, "If you go, I go". It was really funny.
-The expensive food in Disneyland. Wow.
- The fun parades and shows. They put so much money (probably from the expensive food) into everything they do. So awesome! We saw the play Aladdin too and I really liked that.
-Claire just loved the Characters dressed up. I left my camera behind when she got to spend a lot of time with the Winnie the Pooh Characters. She would just stare and gently touch them. So cute!
-No lines. Hardly. We went at such a great time! Mid-week during off season. The kids just kept going and going and going on Space Mountain. That was their favorite.
-The new Toy Story ride. It was so fun and cute! I loved it!
-I loved that the kids fell asleep the second they fell into bed. They. Were. So. Tired. And so was I. Just to get up and do it all again the next day. And the next. Awesome.
Well, we did and saw everything we wanted to do and see in Disneyland. Three days really is the perfect amount of time. And I can't wait to do it all again someday. Either can the kids. And Nate too.
