Roommate reunion mostly

My roommates (from almost 10 years ago) and I got together on Tuesday for a fun girls night out. I love these girls!!! It's not too often that all 5 of us are together at once. We had a great time reminiscing about our college days and all the good times we had. And man, we sure had some good times together. I will always cherish those Utah State days with the girls from D-1. We always have a good laugh as we remember those days, whether it be about couches thrown across the room, or hairballs, or apartments being pancaked or Christmas treed, or random skits in ward talent shows, or our attempt at making bread for the neighbors at Christmas.

It is so fun to get together with them, it's like time has never passed (except there are now 13 kids between the 5 of us). But we are just as goofy and still love to have fun!

And in other news...

We went to Bear Lake for a few nights last week with Nate's family. It was fun to spend time doing pretty much nothing. It was a little cold, but the kids finally talked us into going to the beach and they lasted an hour. Other than that, we ate a lot and played games. And no pictures. Oops. It was just really nice to be with most of the family and relax. My favorite part about vacations. (if only kids new how to relax. They were running crazy most of the time with their cousins and loving every minute of it)

And in more news...

It was fun to see some of my family last night as my cousin Johnny was heading home from his mission. He did a nice little fireside/dinner here in Logan for the family nearby. I wish I would have taken a picture, he looked so grown up! It was really great to see him.

Other than that, we have been spending lots of time outside, at swimming lessons, at t-ball, and playing with friends and cousins. Fun times. Bring it on, summer!
