We haven't been up to much this last week, hence no entry as of late. It has been cold and snowy so we have been hibernating inside. I did finish reading Austenland, but it was a different style of writing then what I wanted (definitely an adult read). I am now starting Goose girl by the same Author, Shannon Hale. It is another children/teen novel and will be good I think.
On Saturday, I was in charge of directing one of the road shows that our youth in the Stake puts on every year. Yes, I know what you are thinking: "Brianne...directing a road show...wow". That is what I thought at first too, but I couldn't say no. I really really really wanted to back out but I didn't. And it turned out really cute too. I am not used to being in charge of so many kids and they ALL listen to me! It was great. At one point in the day (it was an ALL day event. Since our stake is so spread out they had all the practicing and assigning parts that same day, which made for a very long day). But anyway, at one point in the day, I called home to see how Nate and the kids were doing and he said, "Oh fine, we are just watching The Lord Of The Rings right now". Oh. Great. I am sure the kids were loving that. And they did. Dylan has been asking every day since if he can watch "daddy's movie". Great.
As you can tell, I am just trying to waste space so that this will count as an entry.
Here is a little something funny:
Cassie can talk pretty well for her age. I think. But she calls Dylan "Na na" for some reason. I don't know why. And this really REALLY bugs Dylan. They will be playing really nice and all will be happy when all of a sudden Dylan bursts out yelling "STOP CALLING ME NA NA!" or "MY NAME IS NOT NA NA". This has caused many problems in our home. We are trying to teach Dylan that Cassie is very little and just learning her words. We are also trying to teach Cassie how to properly say "D-y-l-a-n". She knows this bugs him too, because when he gets mad at her she giggles and says "Na na" and then giggles some more. Silly little girl. It is hard for Nate and I not to laugh when this happens.
Okay, that is enough. I will try to get some more interesting things going on here soon.

It's awesome that you're involved in your ward. I'm sure you did a great job with the roadshow. My kids eat oranges better too when they're sliced up. What's up with that?
Hey Brianne, Thanks for the advice on posting pictures. Hearing you talk about the dreary weather actually makes me miss Michigan. I know it sounds hard to believe, but true.
